Thanks to my friend Lynn for the beautiful photo!

So the weather has been  warm, dry, sunny and beautiful for our entire lockdown so far-what a gift.  We have all been able-if not always willing-to get out and walk, cycle, play, be in the garden- and it has been a gift of time in many ways, despite the reason we have all had to stay at home.  The  BBC reported last night that people were enjoying their gardens so much, they didn't want to have to go back to work-the enforced rest has helped a lot of us rediscover the calmer side of life-'take time to smell the roses'?'

We have been making lockdown plans for our garden-tidying, weeding, planting, building a pond, and a climbing wall-what??  The pond is underway now-hubby had a large tank which has sat in our back garden for about 7 years. The climbing wall will have to wait as we can't get wood-and it's a mad idea!!!

April is stress awareness month which is very good timing as many of us are under stress a never before, but many of us are finding that the enforced slowing down is showing us how fast we have been living, and how packed our lives have been. I have put a link to Thrive's FB post on the GardenForGood FB page with great info on how gardening can help with stress.
