This is it-the start of a new thing as we have gone into lock down. The world has changed in a few months, and we are having to adapt to a whole new way of living. I have noticed how many people I speak to have said about being out in the garden, and it got me thinking about how being outside/gardening can be so good for us-our physical and mental health. So I thought I would set up this blog, just to share a bit about the joys, successes and disasters of gardening, and how being outside can help, especially at a time like this.
We also are just starting to feel well again after being ill with this latest virus, and being out in the sunshine has really helped, as well as seeing things start to grow which have lain dormant all winter. Like others I have been speaking to, we have sown a few seeds, and pulled a few weeds, and are starting to enjoy thinking about what might grow I have been thinking about something like this for a long time, and hope in the next few weeks and months that our garden will change, our health will improve, and we can share how gardens and nature can be for our good. This is NOT a picture of our garden-I will post a few of these over the next few weeks-much work to be done!!
